Construction Super - Clean Room Build

A Construction Superintendent job in McClellan Park, CA is currently available through Belcan. In this role, you will be responsible for working with main construction subcontractors schedule and assist with the coordination of all construction processes so that projects meet design specifications for a CLEAN ROOM. You will also oversee specialized contractors and other personnel. To be considered for this role, you will have a Bachelors of Science or Technology degree in Engineering, a related specialized area or field, plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience. Due to the nature of the work performed in this facility US citizenship is required.
Job duties:
Ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
Supervision of subcontractors.
Select subcontractors and schedule and coordinate their activities.
Collaborate with the Designer of Record, engineers and architects.
Manages risks and potential pitfalls, (e.g. Bad weather, clean build protocol delays, government/permit approval delays, supply chain problems, etc.).
Wafer fabrication clean room experience overseeing the acquisition and installation of ISO Class III clean space systems and infrastructure for a 200 mm wafer capable tool set build activities.
Proven experience as construction project manager.
Ability to track change orders and contingency draw downs.
In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles.
