JOB FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Manufacturing job family ensures an environment of continuous improvement exists in the organization's production processes, operating procedures and work flows in order to achieve internal and external customer satisfaction. General areas of responsibility include producing products for sale to customers; developing quality objectives; documenting procedures; implementing and monitoring quality measurement methodologies; delivering training; and leading the organization through national or industry quality certification processes. Positions in fabrication are responsible for determining the operations required for fabrication and assembly of products.
AREAS OF IMPACT:
Delivers job responsibilities following a defined standard output or set of procedures. Work consists of tasks that are very routine, or well defined, with specific instructions to achieve standardized solutions.
PROBLEM SOLVING:
Problems and issues faced are routine and solutions are clear. Follows a well established and familiar set of job activities and/or job process to solve a problem.
JOB DUTIES:
+ Preparation and coordination of fabricated pipe and fittings to proper size and/or length.
+ Drilling, tapping and grinding of metal parts per order specifications for end user in a timely manner.
+ Ensure that all tools and equipment are in good working condition and meet calibration specifications.
+ Keep records and maintain clean room environment to comply with regulatory requirements, good manufacturing practices,
+ and standard operating procedures.
+ Perform mechanical assembly of parts and fittings as required with landis machines or others used in assembly process.
+ Set up, operate, and adjust various types of conventional or automatic machines including lathes, drill presses, grinders, and
+ other precision equipment.
+ Work from drawings and written instructions to create replacement and new parts in making repairs to metal parts as well
+ as for experimental apparatus or prototype equipment.
+ Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
+ Participates in associate meetings and communicates any concerns to management.
ADDITIONAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Adhering to all policies, rules, regulations, and procedures.
+ Performing other duties or functions as requested by management.
TECHNICAL AND PROFESSIONAL SKILLS:
+ Ability to organize and prioritize work.
+ Ability to effectively communicate verbally.
+ Ability to effectively utilize specialty hand tools (pipe wrench, soldering and welding equipment, etc.).
+ Ability to effectively utilize electric tools (table saw, jigsaw, circular/miter saw, etc.).
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
+ Requires working indoors in non-controlled environmental conditions.
+ Requires exposure to minor burns, cuts, bites, or stings.
+ Includes exposure to sounds and noise levels that are distracting or uncomfortable.
+ Requires exposure to contaminants or hazardous conditions and wearing common protective or safety equipment.
+ Requires giving and/or receiving verbal communication.
+ Requires giving and/or receiving written communication.
+ Requires using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controls.
+ Requires getting into positions such as kneeling, crouching, stooping or crawling.
+ Constantly requires carrying objects that are 50 lbs or more by hand.
+ Constantly requires carrying objects that are 50 lbs or more using equipment.
WORK HOURS:
Under normal circumstances it is expected that the core duties and responsibilities can be completed in scheduled workweek by a fully qualified associate. Attendance on a regular, consistent basis is mandatory including arriving at the time scheduled by your supervisor daily.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
